Show PINE VALLEY Mrs. Elizabeth Becks trom Reporter Mrs. Aubrey Tolton and Mrs. Arthur Ar-thur Bracken of Central spent several days last week visiting at the home of the latter's daughter, Mrs. G. E. Malchus. Miss Ida Bracken left on Tuesday Tues-day for Cedar City after visiting here at the home of her sister, Mrs. Emma Beckstrom. Mrs. E. S. Gardner and Mrs. Glen E. Snow entertained at an afternoon party at the home of the former in honor of their sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Henry Jensen, Mrs. J. W. Pulsipher and Mrs. Myron Stout, and a former neighbor, Miss Ida Bracken who were all visiting here af their former homes. Other out-of-town guests were Mrs. Es-tella Es-tella McArthur, Mrs. Aubrey Tolton Tol-ton and Mrs. Arthur Bracken. Glenn E. Snow returned to his home here on Saturday after attending at-tending summer school at Berkeley, Berke-ley, Calif., for the past six weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Pearson H. Corb-ett Corb-ett and children attended our Sacrament meeting on Sunday where Mr. Corbett was the speaker speak-er much to the pleasure of those in attendance. i Mrs. I. H. Johnson returned Saturday from Salt Lake City where she has spent a fortnight visiting at her home. She was accompanied ac-companied on her return trip by a friends, Miss Ruth Turpin of Salt Lake City, who will visit here for some time. Miss Bessie Snow was a business busi-ness visitor in Enterprise during part of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Moore and family of Cimmaron, Kansas, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Malin Cox during part of last week. They are friends Mr. Cox made while on his recent mission to the central states. Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Gardner, Mrs. Jessie Whitehead and Mr. and Mrs. Fernleigh Gardner of Cedar City spent Sunday at the Lions' lodge with Mr. and Mrs. Lorin A. Porter, who were there for their vacation. The Porters returned home on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Taylor and their children and grandchildren are spending the week here as part of their Golden Wedding celebration. cele-bration. They are making their headquarters at the vacant home of Mrs. Alice Snow. Rowena, Dorothy, and Jim Snow, children of Dr. and Mrs. Rodney Snow of Santa Monica, Calif., arrived here Monday to spend their vacation at the home of their grandmother, Mrs.' Effie Snow. Mrs. Ida Seegmiller and daughters, daugh-ters, Mishie and Ida of St. George and Mrs. Quincy Adams and daughter, Zola, of Midvale, Utah, spent Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Snow. |
