With Mr. Mueller in 'the front seat of the car were Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Moe, each 36, of Pacific Beach, Calif., and in the rear seat was Myron Anderson, 28, of Towner, Town-er, North Dakota. Sheriff Antone B. Prince and Patrolman Lorin D. Squire of La-Verkin La-Verkin were called to the scene and reported that the car was evidently evi-dently going too fast and failed to negotiate the highway curve, riding rid-ing the road shoulder for 260 feet before Mr. Mueller righted the machine and brought it back onto the highway, when he seemed (Continued on page four) Highway 91 Death (Continued from first page) to have lost control or jammed on the brakes, causing the car to overturn once and a quarter and roll an added 80 feet before coming com-ing to a stop on its left side. Mr. Mueller and Mr. Anderson, the rear seat occupant were thrown from the car, while the other two remained in the machine.. The Pickett Mortuary ambulance ambu-lance was called and Mr. Mueller's Muel-ler's body as well as the injured in-jured passengers were taken to St. George, the latter three to the McGregor hospital, where Mr. Anderson is recovering from an injured back, and lacerations of the face, left hand and right leg. His injuries proved less serious than they were first believed to be. Mr. and Mrs. Moe, who were only slightly injured went on to California. On Monday evening Mr. Mueller's Muel-ler's body was shipped by Pickett Pick-ett Mortuary to his father, George Mueller in Tioga, North Dakota, where funeral services and burial will take place. Mr. Mueller was unmarried. |
