Show Local Group Returns From Visiting L. D. S. Temples Mrs. Mae A. Harris, Mrs. John W. Pace, Mrs. A. B. Andrus and Mrs. George Brooks returned last Saturday evening from a ten-day tour of northern Utah which included in-cluded visits to the Logan, Manti and Salt Lake Temples in company com-pany with their aunt, Mrs. Olive Melborne and daughter, Mrs. Samuel Brooks of Salt Lake City! their sister, Mrs. Joseph E. Allen Al-len of Springville, and Mrs Edith B. Cottam of Provo, and three friends, Mrs. Lillian Fran-cen Fran-cen and Mrs. Henry Pace of Price and Maude May Babcock of Salt Lake City. Meeting Mrs. Melbourn in Salt Lake City the group went on to Logan where they were joined by the visitors from Price, spending spend-ing two days there, then returning return-ing to Salt Lake City for several sev-eral sessions in that Temple before be-fore coming on down for two days' in the Manti Temple. Along with the trip the group witnessed the graduation services at the Brigham Young University, where Mrs. George Brooks' daughter, Emily, was among the graduates. This group of relatives have made this the first of what they plan will be an annual event, hoping hop-ing in the future to visit the Canadian, Mesa, St. George and Hawaiian Temples when normalcy is again restored. Mrs. Melbourn is a world traveler, as also is Miss Babcock, and the members of the group were among the speakers at the devotional services ser-vices in the three temples they visited. |
