Show Hew Harmony Town Meets Quota On Yictory Bond Drive First town in Washington county coun-ty to go over the hurdle in the Victory Bond drive is New ifar-mony, ifar-mony, whose citizens cleared their $2500 allotment within the first 18 hours after the drive opened. This report was made by Albert F. Mathis, chairman for New Harmony. First pioneer settlement of Washington county, New Harmony Har-mony at present has less than 30 families, who make their living from farm products, raising of goats and other' livestock. They have always been self-sustaining and in each of the bond drives have been among the first to reach their quota, a fact of which Mr. Mathis and the town generally gener-ally are justly proud. |
