Show Testimonial Held Sunday Evening In Institute For Miss Caroline Stucki The lounge of the L. D. S. Institute In-stitute building, St. George was the setting for the center ward testimonial Sunday evening honoring honor-ing Miss Caroline Stucki, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. K. Stucki, who is leaving this month for an L. D. S. mission. A large group of relatives and friends from Washington, Wash-ington, Santa Clara and St. George attended. Bp. Byron H. Taylor conducted the short program which included a brief address by Miss Stucki's uncle, E. Eric Snow on "Missionary "Mission-ary Experiences and Expectations", Expecta-tions", violin solo, "Angusdei", by Mrs. E. Ellis Everett, brief responses re-sponses by the missionary and her father and vocal trio, "The Life For Me" by Mrs. Von Cottam, Mrs. Allen Ruesch and Mrs. Ralph Lauper, accompanied by Mrs. Mae A. Pace, and piano solo, Miss Ila Holt. Prayers were by Ralph Huntsman and Joseph Palmer. Following the program refreshments refresh-ments were served during which other music numbers were presented. pre-sented. Miss Stucki received many 1 personal gifts for her mission. |
