Show : George K. Lund Dies Sunday In California Relatives in St. George were advised ad-vised Tuesday of the death of George Kenneth Lund, 24, former St. George and Salt Lake City resident, who was killed in Los Angeles Sunday, while horseback riding. Details of the accident are lacking. Born in St. George Aug. 21, 1917, he was a son of George R. and Thamizen Andrus Lund. He had his schooling in St. George, where the family resided until five years ago, when they moved to Salt Lake City, where he had employment in the Crystal Pal-1 ace market. He moved to Los Angeles in September 1941, to accept employment with the North American aircraft corporation. Surviving are his widow, Daisy Cherrington Lund of Los Angeles; An-geles; his mother and brother of Los Angeles; four sisters, Mrs. Aleath Potter of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Laura Terry of Provo; Mrs. Phyllis Foate of Los Angeles and Mrs. Kay Sullivan of Merced, Calif. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday afternoon in Salt Lake City, which will be attended by several relatives from St. George. |
