Show Local People Attend the Marriage of Ralph Harris and Miss Ruth Goss Mr. and Mrs. Reid Blake and children, accompanied by Mrs. Blake's mother, Mrs. Bert B. Harris of Leeds, returned Monday forenoon from Glendale, Calif., where they attended the marriage of Ralph Harris and Miss Ruth Goss late Saturday evening. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Joseph F. Goss, of Glendale, and the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Harris of Leeds and brother of Mrs. Blake. He was a former Dixie college student and was active ac-tive in music and dramatics. He has resided in Glendale for the past three years. The marriage took place in the Wie Kirk O' the Heather in Glendale Glen-dale at 9:30 p.m., Saturday, May 31, with George J. Cannon, president presi-dent of the Glendale stake reading read-ing the double wedding ring ceremony cere-mony in the presence of a large group of relatives and friends of the couple. Following the ceremony the wedding party were guests of the bride's mother at a home wedding reception. Included in the party were Charles Wright, Miss Norma i Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Stirling, Mrs. Mitchell Corum, and Mrs. Carl Wicks, the former Alta Stirling, all formerly of Leeds and cousins of the groom. After a honeymoon in Catalina, they will reside in Glendale. |
