Show NEW HARMONY Mrs. O. Hammond Mrs. L. Mathis Reporters Monday evening the Blue Bird group gave a social. They had as honored guests, their mothers and the Blue Bird advisers, Mrs. Jean-ette Jean-ette Woolsey and Mrs. Melissa D. Hammond. A very pleasant evening eve-ning was enjoyed by all. We had as business visitors on Wednesday, Paul Gates of Hurricane Hurri-cane and Ezra Tobler of St. George. The first meeting of the D.U.P. was held at the home of Mrs. Orson Hammond Thursday. The history of Julia Carbine Taylor was composed and read by a granddaughter, Leverna T. Englestead. Engle-stead. Mr. and Mrs. James D. Neil-son, Neil-son, Mr. and Mrs. Edmond C. Grant, motored to Hurricane on Thursday, to attend the funeral services of Mrs. Allie Stout. Mrs. Anthon Pace has as visitors vis-itors Saturday, Mrs. Arch Ruth and Mrs. Thomas Turnbeaugh of St. George. Bernard, Weldon and Leslie Mathis and Mr. and Mrs. Oak of Inglewood, Calif., were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Mathis on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams and family of Cedar City were visitors Sunday, of Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Pace. Miss Alta Englestead has gone to Salt Lake City where she has employment. Jeff and Leslie Pace of Delta, Mr, and Mrs. Orin Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Williams of Cedar City were visitors on Friday. Fri-day. James E. Taylor is visiting in Hurricane with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Val Hafen were business visitors here this week. Mrs. Elsie Cornelius is recorer-ing recorer-ing from her recent operation. |
