Show Considerable Damage Done By Fire At Hurricane The Heat on Hatchery at Hurricane Hurri-cane caught on fire last Sunday morning at two o'clock, causing approximately $1,000 worth of damage. Linden Ilea Ion, owner, says that he thinks the fire was caused by the boooder clogging and causing sparks to set the straw on fire. Mr. Heat on went out at one o'clock as usual to check no on everything, but could see nothing wrong. About two o'clock Burr Bradshaw saw the fire and gave the alarm and soon a large crowd had gathered. A 00- foot brooder coop was half destroyed as well as 1.000 chickens and some brooder equipment. |
