Show Lions Club Entertains 3 Clubs and Ladies In Ladies' Night Program Saturday evening, Feb. 15, was ladies' night for the Leonas of Panguitch, Cedar City, Kanab and St. George, with the local Lions as hosts. Special guests were District Governor of 28-U, Aura C. Hatch of Provo, who was accompanied ac-companied by Dr. F. C. Wolf, past governor. Others representative officials were Pres. Dan Frost of Kanab, President Elmer of Panguitch, Pres. H. A. Terry, Cedar City, and Vice-president Neal Lundberg of St. George. Darrel Phil Spencer was chairman chair-man in charge of the evening's entertainment and Howard Cannon Can-non was toastmaster, for the banquet ban-quet held at 8 p. m., in the Arrowhead Ar-rowhead hotel, with plates set for 130 members and guests. The dinner program was arranged in a Professor Quizz style, and furnished furn-ished much merriment as well as excellent musical numbers, say those who attended. Following the dinner the group enjoyed dancing at the St. George Recreation hall. This is the regular regu-lar zone quarterly entertainment and was voted one of the finest i programs since the local groups j were organized. Neal Lunberg vice-president acted in behalf of Pres. Wesley A. Nelson who was absent in Denver on business. |
