Show Registration Falls Far Below Estimated Number Many Washington County7 Boys Expected To Register At Other Places Only 43 out of an estimated 92 (national board estimate) registered regis-tered in Washington county July 1 in the second registration day held for youths under the selective service law. Of the 43, 10 were from other sections making only a total of 33 to register from this county. However, Mrs. Ellen Bentley, secretary of the Washington county coun-ty board, points out that a great many of Washington county boys are working and will register outside out-side of the county. Consequently, she states, it is the belief of the county board that their quota will probably be brought up to their estimate of 70 to register. Reports Re-ports from boards throughout the state indicate that the registration registra-tion is much smaller than that anticipated by the National organization. or-ganization.
