Show Large Delegation Attends Legion-Auxiliary Meet In Parowan Canyon A delegation of nearly 30 men and women returned Friday evening eve-ning from attending the district Legion and Auxiliary convention held at Vermillion Castle in Parowan Par-owan canyon, five miles from Parowan Par-owan town, report having had a wonderful outing, constructive sessions and a royal banquet with the Parowan post as hosts. Also they brought home three major honors with cash award for first place in the Poppy poster contest, which goes to Miss Joesphine Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Jones; a cash prize for having hav-ing been first in getting their annual an-nual membership in to the department depart-ment and National citation and honor for this latter accomplishment. accomplish-ment. Separate sessions were held for both Legionnaires and Auxiliaries at 2 p. m., then all assembled for the 6 p. m., banquet where barbecued barbe-cued beef, with old-time dressing, a variety of vegetables, cake and ice cream made up a grand picnic banquet.
