Show CANE BEDS, ARIZONA Cane Beds, Ariz., July 15. A jolly good time was had on the Fourth, Short Creek and Cane Beds joining in the celebration which was held in Short Creek canyon. The scenery was grand, the big family picnic in the spot known as "The Garden of Eden" couldn't be beat and all enjoyed en-joyed the sports in the afternoon and the dance at Cane Beds in the evening. even-ing. Ellis P. Stock and the Thurston Bros., Erwon and Prank of Cane Beds, and Isaac Stock of Hurricane have bought the Schultz sawmill at Mt. Trumbull and have all gone out there to work. Miss Julia Perkins has gone to the Moccassin Indian reservation to work. Miss Zina accompanied her for a few weeks' visit. Walter C. Eagar of Hurricane and Howard B. Spencer of Orderville have been visiting in Cane Beds the past week. Miss LuZene Wilkinson has returned re-turned to her work at Hurricane after aft-er a week's visit at home. Mrs. Olive B. Stock has gone to La Verkiu to stay the rest of the summer sum-mer with relatives. We had a lovely rain storm last Monday which was much appreciated by everybody. Mrs. C. A. Anderson has gone to Hurricane to stay for a while to put up fruit. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beebe have moved to La Verkin, Utah. |
