Show ROCKVILLE Rockville, July 22. Tom Mix, celebrated movie cowboy, is scheduled schedul-ed to arrive in Zion park on the 10th of August. Arrangements are being made to stage a thrilling picture in the park, the first of a series to be made in the canyon this fall. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Terry and Mrs. David Terry started on a motor trip from here on the 13th. They were joined at Xew Harmony by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schmutz and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh M. Woodward o Provo. The party made a tour of all the scenic attractions of the southern part of the state, returning home Saturday. Miss Augusta Jennings entertained the men in charge of the bridge work at dinner Sunday. Covers were laid for six. A musicale followed and all spent a very enjoyable evening. . Mrs. John Dennett was called to Oak creek on the 15th on account of the illness of Mrs. Cornelia Craw- ' ford. Mrs. Crawford is reported as much improved. Mrs. Julia Coa who has been visiting visit-ing her niece, Mrs. Roswell DeMill i left here on the 13 th for Salt Lake ! City and other northern points. Mrs. Heber Hirschi returned home after an enjoyable trip to Pish lake, Bryce and other places. C. B. Dinsmore, of the firm of contractors con-tractors putting in the Rockville bride, left for Ogden last Sunday. Milo Hirschi has just returned from the Zion ledges where he has been with cattle. Boyd Dennett made a brief visit to Short Creek, Ariz., Saturday. |
