Show La Yerkin Mrs. Alice Gubler Reporter Mrs. Myariah Bowers and son, Clyde, of Ordervillo, are visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Isaac Hardy. Word has been received by relatives rela-tives that Owen Sanders, formerly former-ly of LaVerkin, is in the Iron county hospital where he underwent under-went an appendicitus operation. Ashby Hardy is here spending a brief vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hardy. Mrs. Hardy is just recovering from a recent serious illness. Mrs. Mary A. Gubler and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gubler are in Salt Lake City. Mr. Gubler is receiving medical attention there. Mrs. Mary Hardy has returned home after a two-weeks visit with her children in Las Vegas. Mrs. Delworth Wilson was taken to the Iron county hospital Monday where she was operated on for appendicitus. Miss Irene Cox of St. George was a week-end visitor at the home of her sister, Mrs. Vernon Church. The stake and ward genealogical genealogi-cal officers had a campfire party at La Verkin Monday night. There were games and singing in the early part of the evening and then wcinies were roasted over the coals of the fire. The party was well attended and very successful. Gene Bringhurst of St. George is here, where he expects to spend the summer on the farm with his uncle, John "Judd. Mr. and Mrs. Rass Matheson of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Gubler. Mrs. Vilate Hardy is at the Leland Stout sawmill on Cedar Mountain where she expects to cook for the mill hands for the next two weeks. Mrs. Ruth Bernardi of Prise, is visiting with her sister, Mrs. Wayne Reed. |
