Show Mr. and Mrs. David A. Moss Celebrate Golden Wedding Fete Mr. and Mrs. David A. Moss, whose Golden Wedding anniversary anniver-sary occur ed six weeks ago, officially of-ficially celebrated the event Sunday, Sun-day, when nine of their 11 living children, most of them with their families, assembled In this city for the event. Their eldest son, David, of Los Angeles, and their eldest daughter, Mrs. Jed Denning of Montana were, unable to attend. Those coming from outside this city were: Edgar Moss and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Moss, of American Ameri-can Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Moss and children and Gilbert Moss, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Moss and four children of Los Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. George Moss and children from Murray; Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Shurtz and children, of Delta, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Moss and family, of Santa Clara. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Moss and family are local residents. resi-dents. Arriving late Friday and early Saturday, the visitors made the week-end a complete holiday for their parents. Mrs. Moss was the guest of honor while her daughter and daughters-in-law took full charge of the house and prepared the dinner Sunday, to which Mrs. Nellie Miles, only living liv-ing family member of Mr. Moss and Mr. and Mrs. M. Bringing with them a huge wedding rake and other special gifts for their parents, the children did their utmost ut-most to make this a memorable occasion. The dinner table held as decorat ions, golden water lillies as plate favors, the cards they held hearing sentiments to the guests of honor, which were read during the meal. After dinner Ihe entire group attended Ihe evening sacramental services in Ihe south ward chapel with Mr. and Mrs. Moss. "II was an impressive sight" say those who were present, "to see so many members of one family grouped together to-gether at church." When they returned home the evening was devoted to an impromptu im-promptu program of ranging, music, readings and visiting. Mrs. Moss ami I wo of her daiighter-in-laws gave piano selections and Miss Loa Moss of Ihis city played a violin .solo accompanied hy her grandmother. A tribute written to the honored couple by I). A. Malhoson, who with his wile spool several winters at the Moss home while working ill Ihe Temple, was read by (albert Moss and idler-wards idler-wards sung by the group lo the melody "Silver Threads Among tin- Gold".
