Show Further Improvements Planned At Temple In a phone call received late Wednesday night from H. J. Mc-Kean, Mc-Kean, contractor of Salt Lake City, Pres. H. S. Snow was advised ad-vised that the presidency of the church in their meeting yesterday authorized additional improvements improve-ments in interior and exterior painting of the St. George Temple. The font room is to be entirely repainted and the font and fixtures fix-tures burnished and bronzed in their original colors. The entire stairways from the main floor to the top are to be scraped, canvassed canvas-sed and walls, cases and railings given a double coat of paint. On the outside the entire building is to be scraped and cleaned thoroughly of the dull paint now on and restored to its long famed whiteness with a triple coating of weather resisting paints. "This advice", says President Snow, "is gratefully received and work will begin immediately". |
