Show ST. GEORGE CAMP General Walter C. Sweeney, Commanding Officer of the Fort Douglas district in company with Lieut. -Colonel McCarty, also-from Fort Douglas, made a transitory but pleasant visit to Company 255S last Wednesday. General Sweeny was making an inspection inspec-tion of CCC camps in Southern Utah and Nevada. Incidentally General Sweeney celebrated his sixtieth birthday, November 16. Supt. D. M. Thompson, accom- j panied by Mrs. Thompson made j a business trip to Salt Lake City Monday of this week. Mr. Thompson Thomp-son conferred with the Division of Grazing officials on matters pertaining to DG-45. Due to the fact that Company 2558 is under quarantine for a case of spinal meningitis, it is impossible for the fellows to at tend out-of-camp activities, soj recreational facilities are brought to the boys in the camp. Tuesday Tues-day evening of this week a moving mov-ing picture show was shown for their entertainment in the Mess hall. Needless to say every member mem-ber of the company attended the show and enjoyed it to the utmost. ut-most. Last Sunday, seventy-five boys were taken on a ' recreational trip to Zion National Park. Almost Al-most every man that constituted the party were men who came to Company 2 558 from Kentucky. In view of the fact that Zion National Park is such a contrast to their usual habitat, the boys were intensely interested in the picturesque scenery abounding in the park. On the most intersting items of the trip was the opportunities the boys had to see and study numerous deer at close raJige.
