Show LOCAL LIONS ATTEND CHICKAREE AT DRAPER Tiingham Canyon Lions Club wad well represented at the Draper Lions annual Lions District Dis-trict 28-T Chickaree held at Draper park on Thursday night, August 9, which honored outgoing out-going district governor of 28-T Wendell L. Cottrell of Salt Lake City. Local people attending were Mr. and Mrs. Reed Kelly, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dispenza, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. V. S. Barlow, Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Curtis, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Morley, Mr. and Mrs. Francis C. Oswald and daughter Dana, and their guest, Mrs. Edith Scuddor of Los Angeles, W. H. Harris, Mrs. Mae Stillman and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Holding who came up from St. George. Guest speakers were Carl P. Rodolph of Clovis, N. Mex., international in-ternational director, Internation Association of Lions Clubs; D-A. Skeen, Salt Lake City, past international in-ternational president; Mr. Cottrell, Cot-trell, LaVar W. Thatcher, Mr. Morley, district governor 28-T, and Robert Pixton, international counselor from Draper. Several musical numbers were rendered by the Draper Lions quartet. Harry Ballard of the Murray Lions Club acted as master of ceremonies. About 350 were in attendance. |
