Show Rockville Mrs. Pliiletus Jones Reporter The bazaar held here recently was considered quite a success. Articles of clothing, quilts, rugs, pastries and candies were offered for sale. Nearly everything was sold, thus netting a nice sum for the Relief Sosiety, under whose sponsorship it was put on. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hahan and daughter left for Reno last Saturday Satur-day to visit Mr. Mahan's mother and sister. They will visit with Gordon and Garth Jones and other relatives at Berkeley, Calif, before returning home the last of March. Mrs. Ira Millett and daughter, Mrs. Elaine Roser of Salt I-'ike City left for San Francisco last week to visit Mr. Millett and their two daughters and their families. We still have many people suffering suf-fering with the flu, some have leen very sick. Bishop Ballard spent the past week in Cedar. City attending the Stockmen's meetings. Most all the fences along the river were washed away in the big flood. A flock of chickens of Dewey Hirschi's were swept away. Elwin Ballard's pickup truck, which was taken down stream in the flood at Grafton, was located locat-ed and after a day's work, a crowd of men Mieecedod in digging dig-ging it out and brought it to town. It is badly damaged. |
