Show Ervin Bryner Left Wednesday To Assume New Duties With Overton Co. Ervin Bryner, for the past 17 years an employee of the Southern Utah Power company, left Wednesday Wed-nesday for Overton, Nov., where he will take over management of Overton Power company, Division No. 5. Officials from that company com-pany have been in touch with Mr. Bryner for the past month, with full knowledge of the Southern Utah Power company, who regard this as in effect a promotion and while they report they regret his loss, he goes to this new position with their full approval and good wishes. A pleasant program was carried on during the dinner and through the evening. Vocal numbers were by Marion Bowler, plant employee from Gunlock, and by Mrs. Edna N. Johnson. Congratulatory addresses ad-dresses were made by Reid H. Gardner and Miss Inez Cox, employees em-ployees of the company from Cedar City, presenting Mr. Bryner with a watch, and Mrs. Bryner with a cameo broach, in behalf of the entire force of workers. Responses were made by Mr. and Mrs. Bryner. Mrs. Anne Price was toastmaster. Mr. Bryner served just 11 years and one day as manager of the Southern Utah Power company, first at Hurricane, later at Cedar City and for the past three years in St. George. Bert Riding, plant operator from Veyo, has been assigned management of the St. George division. Mr. Riding has also been in the company's employment em-ployment for many years. |
