Show ii. V. W. (XUI5 HOLDS CHRISTMAS PARTY SIX. The annual Christmas party of the St. George Business and Professional Women's club was held Sunday evening in the Standard Stand-ard Cafe. The program was started with a vocal solo by Miss Mary McGregor, Mc-Gregor, "The Holy City".' Mrs. Josephine Spilsbury sang a selection sel-ection from Handel's "Messiah", and M'iss Ruth Winsor read a Christmas story These numbers were "cleverly announced to the rhythm of "Twas the Night Before Christmas", by Miss Cornelia. Ashby. She also announced the arrival of Santa Claus who presented pre-sented each one present with a gift. The program was under the direction of the music committee with Mrs. Mae Pace in charge and Miss Ruth Wjnsor, Mrs. Josephine Jos-ephine Spilsbury, Miss Cornelia Ashby, and Mrs. Katharine Anderson An-derson as her committee. |
