Show News of the County Seat ! Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lelia returned home Friday from Ogden where they were called to attend the funeral of her mother, Mrs. Shaw who was buried November 3 0. Mrs. Frank Evans spent the latter part of the week here visiting her sister, Mrs. Lawrence O. Marsh while enroute to her home at Salt Lake City from Los Angeles where she spent the past five weeks visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Atkin and three children who have made their home at Boulder City, Nevada, Ne-vada, for some time have moved to Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Atkin's brother, George Andrus has gone to California to spend Christmas with them and with Mr. and Mrs. Roman Andrus and family. George Schmutz entered the hospital on Sunday to receive treatment for pneumonia. A clipping from- a California paper received from Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kenworthy of Culver City, California stated that their son, Kenneth and a dancing partner had been awarded first place in a dancing contest. Kenneth and Bobby Kenworthy have been studying along several lines, including in-cluding music and elocution. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Peers of Los Angeles are here to spend the holidays visiting with relatives in St. George and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Cottam at Veyo. Attorney and Mrs. Orval Hafen left Wednesday for Provo to spend the holiday season visiting her parents, MV. and Mrs. Joseph Jos-eph Clark. Mrs. Wyatt Miles and son, Wyatt are spending the holidays with Mr. Miles at Salt Lake City and her sister, Mrs. Norman Johnson at Provo. Schuyler Everett was the guest of honor at a birthday party last Thursday evening which was attended by the following: Mr. and Mrs. Carus Lortz, Misses Afton Snow, Delma Miller, Ber-niece Ber-niece Holt, Geraldine Seegmiller, Blanch Baker, Mary Ellen Gentry, Gen-try, Helena Thomas, and Arlo Prisbrey, Thomas Pratt, Anthony Pace, Eugene Wells, Truman Cannon and Rudy Lortz. Mr. and Mrs Richard Horsley of Logandale, Nevada arrived in town Monday to spend the holidays holi-days in St. George and Veyo. Thomas Pratt returned to his home at Hinckley on Sunday after af-ter a weeks' visit with relatives and friends here. Mrs. Julian Young returned Monday from Salt Lake City where she spent some time with relatives. Eli Whipple is confined to his home with illness. FOR SALE Cheap. Mrs. Evelyn Adair and son of New Harmony are here to spend the holiday season with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Don G. A. Smith. Mrs. Mamie Paxman and Miss Helen Hafen who were injured in an accident several weeks ago have been removed to their homes here. They are getting along nicely at this time.
