Show Vocational Honors Won By Dixie Students Students of the Dixie high school captured the vocational honors at the annual high school day at Cedar City on Saturday, April 2, when they received seven first place ratings in the contests sponsored by the B.A.C. Twenty-one Twenty-one high school groups shared in the day's activities. Practically all the prizes won by Dixie students were in the (business field. The places won and the students representing the high school were: First year shorthand, Rena Nielson, first place; second year shorthand, Roma Snow, Joey Talley and Romana Cannon, won first places; first year typewriting, D. C. Watson; accuracy, Laura Lytle; second year typewriting, Ion Bludsoe, Maxala McMullin and Joey Talley. In the family relations contest superior rating was given to Cecile Schmutz. |
