Show ROCKVILLE MRS. PHUjETUS JONES Reporter A socal was held Tuesday evening for the retiring officers in the Relief Society. Game were played, a. nice lunch served and a very good time enjoyed by Irving Dalton and children child-ren spent several days visiting relatives in Cedar City and; attending at-tending the Blackhawk Encampment Encamp-ment there. Most of the men in Zion Park were laid off last Thursday. Miss Faye. Lemman who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Dick DeMill left for Parowan last week. Mrs. Clarence B. Tinkler Qf Pasadena, California is here visiting visit-ing her daughter, Mrs. Dick De-Mill. De-Mill. Mrs. Parley Stapley and her small daughter o Los Angeles and Miss Vaughn Staugliter of Idaho were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David P. Terry last week. Quite a crowd of our young folks are working in the peaches at Hurricane, La Verkin and Toquerville. Mt. and Mrs. John Terry and son, Elmer and family of Salt Lake City were visiting relatives and friends here last week-end. Considerable damage was done to the ditches and fences at Grafton Monday afternoon by a storm which washed away flumes, flum-es, and filled up the ditches. The fields South of Rockville were greatly damaged and hay which was ready to haul was swept away. Other crops were practically ruined. Mrs. Fern Cannon and children child-ren visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. Jones on Sunday Howard HIrschi left for Glen dale, on the 11th to work. |
