Show LEEDS MRS. LIZZIE McQTJAID Reporter Fay and Grace Stirling nave returned home from Long Beach, California where they have spent the past six weeks. A cloudburst in WTater Canyon last Wednesday took onr dam out and for several days we were without irrigation water. Mr. and Mrs. William Welte and family of Salt Lake City spent Saturday here visiting Mrs. Dalice Hartman and family. Mr. Welte is a former resident of Silver Reef. The Elberta peach crop is about harvested. The peaches were very good but only about half as many as last year. Max Parker and Mr. and Mrs. Lue Applegate of Circlevllle visited vis-ited with Mr. Parker's sister, (Continued on page five) LEEDS (Continued from page four) Mrs. David McMallin on last Saturday afternoon. Mr. Parker who is in his ninety-third year was an honored guest at the Blackhawk encampment held last week in. Cedar City. His health is very good for his age. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Sullivan, Mr; and Mrs. Don Fuller and daughter, Phyllis have returned from Yellowstone Park. Mrs. Evan Sullivan was taken to the McGregor hospital in St. |
