Show HURRICANE HISTORY IS SUBJECT OF D. U. P. MEET AT HURRICANE HURRICANE, UTAH, Feb. 10 "The Early History of Hurricane," Hurri-cane," was the subject discussed at a meeting of the Daughters of Utah pioneers held at the home' of Mrs. Annie C. Isom, on Monday. Mary W. Hall, camp registrar treated the subject. She was assisted as-sisted by James Jepson. Following the meeting members were taken in cars up on Hurricane Hurri-cane hill where they set up a marker at the spot where Hurricane Hurri-cane was given its name. The hole was dug with a crowbar that has been in the valley fifteen years. The party was led by Mr. Jepson. According to Bessie Cutler, twenty-five .women, four children and ifour men were present at the ceremonies on the hill. The Hur-'ricar.e Hur-'ricar.e chapter expects to dedicate the place as soon as possible, she said. |
