Show Enterprise Sirs. Theresa Huntsman Reporter Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Sprague and family of Pioche were week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Barnum. Enterprise has had her share of June weddings. The following four couples were married within a week of each other: Rula Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don L. Jones, of Enterprise and Arrah Martineau, son of Mrs. Nellie Martineau of Gunlock were married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 7. Donald Bowler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bowler of Enterprise and Theda Blad of Panaca were married June S, in the Salt Lake Temple. H. Grant Terry, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Terry of Enterprise and Maree Beatty of Tociuerville were married on Mr. Terry's birthday birth-day anniversary, June 9. The ceremony cere-mony took place in Parowan and was performed by Bishop Adams of that place. Georgia Holt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Holt of Enterprise Enter-prise and Jack Movie, son of Mr and Mrs. Porley P. Movie of Enterprise Enter-prise were married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 13. Miss Holt and Mr. Movie attended at-tended the M.I.A. conference in Salt Lake City and were married before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Jones entertained en-tertained at a luncheon and progressive pro-gressive rook party Sunday evening. even-ing. Guests included Mr. and Mi's. Delmar Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Loon Barnum. Mr. and Mrs. Alwyn Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Stanton Jones. Mrs. Alwyn Jones won high score. Mrs. May Pate. Jennie Terry and Amos Terry have returned home from Salt 'Lake. Mr. Terry left here several months ago to go on a mission. After his term of preparation prep-aration in the mission home, a physical examination showed that an operation was necessary and he was operated on for appendicitis, appendici-tis, ulcers of the stomach and his tonsils were removed. He is feeling feel-ing fine and as soon as he recovers re-covers sufficiently he will leave for his mission. Ed Hunt has gone to Salt Lake to attend school. Mrs. Amos Hall has returned home from Escalante. Arthur Miles and Carl vie Thompson were home missionaries here Sunday. Human Williams and Vernon Worthen were business visitors here Friday. |
