Show Rockville Mrs. Philetus Jones Reporter Mrs. Fanny Terry of Hincklej visited with the David Terry family on her way from the San Francisco fair last week. Alpine Demill and Clayton Hirschi returned home from the St. George deer hunt. Bp. Waldon Ballard and family and Heber Hirschi and family spent Friday and Saturday on the Kaibab gathering pinenuts. Expecting to spend the winter in Rockville, Mrs. Riley Hirschi and new baby are here after a two month's stay in Cedar City. Rulon Langston and Lorraine Demill left with a party of hunters from Springdale for northern points to hunt elk. The Misses Dessie Jones, lone Demill, Karma Hirschi and Wendell Wen-dell Demill spent Saturday in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. P. Jones visited with their daughter, Mrs. Fern Cannon and family Saturday. Sunday school ward conference was held here last Sunday with the stake superintendency in attendance, at-tendance, Frank Barber, Winferd Gubler and Charles Bringhurst. Relief society ward conference was held in sacrament meeting. Mrs. Maurice Wilson of La Verkin, a stake board member, was a visitor. Rex Russell is home again after an absence of several months. Sherman Russell is at Cedar City harvesting potatoes. Irving Dalton is having two rooms added to his home. A number of men from Spring-dale Spring-dale and Rockville, under the direction of Mr. Despain, with Rosvell Demill as boss, repaired the road above town at the submerged sub-merged crossing which was damaged dam-aged by the recent storm. The primary held a Hallowe'en party for the children Monday after school. At night the schools held their party. Many .clever costumes were worn at both parties. The M.I.A. gave their Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en program Tuesday night. 1 |
