Mrs. Anderson will be remembered by many here as Miss Lillian Soren son. Miss Helen Seegmiller left on Monday for Los Angeles to spend her vacation with relatives and friends. B. club at here home last Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Orval Hafen and son returned Sunday from a visit in Salt Lake City and Provo. They were accompanied home by her sister, Miss Clark of Provo who will spend several weeks with them here. Mrs. LaGene Morris received word last Friday of the death of her grandmother, Mrs. Dinah Dor-rity Dor-rity of Kanosh and with her two children attended the funeral serv-: serv-: ices which were held at that place on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Carr and : family left Sunday 1 for Provo where Mr. Carr will attend the B. Y. U. session of summer school. They were accompanied by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cot-tam Cot-tam who will spend the next few months visiting there and in Salt Lake City. Classes in tap dancing are being held in the Dixie College gym each Tuesday and Saturday evenings at 6:00 for all children between the ages of six and fourteen years. These are free and are under the direction of Mrs. Laura Burgess, WPA project leader. Miss Leona Holt is the dancing instructor. The Primary dances are being held on Friday evening at 6:00 and punch will be sold at a small fee. Miss Helen Hafen entertained a group of friends at her home on Monday afternoon, the occasion being her birthday. Guests included: includ-ed: Maxine Hafen, Toni Watson, Naomi Fordham, Norma Mathis, Mary Andrus and Pearl Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Ciarence Jones and family of Hurricane moved to St. George last Saturday to make their home. Miss Florence Foremaster attended at-tended conference in Salt Lake City last week-end and will attend at-tend symmer school at the B. 'y. U. in Provo before returning ! home. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pace and infant daughter left this morning for Preston, Idaho where they will visit relatives. Mrs. J. W. Pace accompanied them to Salt Lake City where she will visit. The first year 4-H club held a meeting to elect officers. The officers of-ficers were elected as follows: Helen Bentley, president; RoLaine Prince, vice-president; Elaine Cannon, Can-non, secretary; Mary Judd reporter. report-er. The meeting was held at the home of Ada Hafen last Tuesday night. The O. T. T. F. club held their first organization meeting at the home of their leader last Friday and the work for the summer was outlined and the following officers offi-cers were elected: Carol Cox, president; Erva Hansen, vice-president; Ora Brooks, secretary and treasurer; reporter, Virginia Woodbury; Wood-bury; song and cheer leader, Betty Bowler; organist, Grace Bentley. Dr. Clarence Clark who has been very ill for some time is showing steady improvement. Mary Morris, Orvilla Pace, Louise Hopkins and Beulah Klien-man Klien-man left Wednesday night for Los Angeles where they will spend the summer attending summer school at the University of Southern California.
