Show Elementary School News Miss Woodbury's First Grade What busy times at school. We saw the "Strong Man" today. We will see "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" Friday at 2 o'clock. We are busy getting ready for Thanksgiving. We are going to help give the program in P.-T.A. next Thursday. We are learning our own Thanksgiving song. We will sing it for you Thursday night at P.-T.A. Miss Morris' Second Grade We are busy making books for our library table. Every day we write a story and then while Miss Morris types it, we paint a picture about it. We choose the best for our book. Last week Dorothy Cox brought us some Chrysanthemums, Carolyn Lytic brought an avaeado, Betty Covington, some pheasant feathers LaVar Foremaster a cotton seed, and Jerry Jeanne Morris, a black widow spider. We made up good stories about, (hem all. Miss I,nrson's Third Grade We are filling a Christmas Rod Cross box for some little boy. We don'l know what country if will go lo. We hope the one who gels it will be happy. We have bad a good time getting it ready. Our boys are having a good football game this week. The score is even. The girls are having fun playing baseball. Miss Sorenson's Fourth Grade We have a new girl in our room. She came from Denver, Colo. Her name is Carolyn Balme. We are making a border of the Pilgrims for our room for Thanksgiving. Thanks-giving. Each commit loo has chosen some pari of Hie story to tell in their piclure. We hope to have it finished before" long. We have enjoyed making il very much. |
