Show Call For Washington County, Utah REPUBLICAN CONVENTION Xo Republican District Chairmen, and Officers and to Republicans of Washington County, Utah: Pursuant to resolution of the Republican County Committee Com-mittee of Washington County, Utah, adopted by said com- l mittee duly assembled on May 28, 1938, and in accordance j with the provisions of Chapter 29, Section 38, and the I subdivisions thereof, Session Laws of Utah, 1937, you are ! hereby notified that the County Convention of the Republican Republi-can party for Washington County, Utah, will be held at St George, the county seat of said county, at the courthouse court-house at 8 o'clock p.m. on Saturday, the 11th day of June, 1938; that at said convention delegates to the Republican I gtete Convention will be elected and a county chairman, vice-chairman (of opposite sex), Secretary, Treasurer and a county central committee to serve for the ensuing two S vears, will be chosen; and other party affairs may be considered. For your information, the new Primary law was passed by the Utah State Legislature in 1937, and its provisions It are found in Chapter 29, Section 38, its subdivisions and the sections following, Session Laws of Utah, 1937. you are requested and instructed to report immediately after the district mass meetings to the county chairman, the business transacted at your mass meeting for certifi- cation to the county committee. '. David 3. Wilson, state chairman, is planning to attend the county convention. Members of the public are invited to attend also.
