Let's Clean Up For The Convention ! A city-wide landscape improvement program is urged by city officials before the Municipal League convention which is to be held here next week end. Weeds and all unsightly objects such as old buildings, dead trees, fallen down fences and junk piles should be removed. Considerable improvement has been made during the last few years in the beautifying of homes and public buildings by the planting of lawns, shrubs, vines and trees. However, right now a considerable amount of cleaning up should be done to give the city a spic and span look. With city officials here from practically every community com-munity in the state, St. George will be on display and comparisons made. Everyone in the community wants the city officials who visit here to go away with a good impression. im-pression. To do this a considerable amount of work will have to be done at once. Let's all take a look at our own property and the street in front of it and see what we. can do to improve its appearance. .a.
