Show ENTERPRISE MRS. THERESA HUNTSMAX Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Terry have returned home after a short visit into northern Utah and Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Bryan accompanied them home. Mr. White is here giving a course in first-aid to all in our community over twelve years of age who desire to take the course. B. K. Farnsworth, representing represent-ing the Liquor control commission, commis-sion, was a business visitor here Saturday. Raymond Farnsworth has re turned home from Provo where he spent the last winter attending attend-ing school. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Layton of Thatcher, Arizona were visitors here on Friday and Saturday. Gordon Swapp has returned from Los Anegles after a short visit with Leland Huntsman. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Truman and Dorothy and Don Hafen of Fallon, Nevada are in town visiting visit-ing with Mrs. M. A. Alger. Mrs. Grace Gale and daughter, Mrs. June Sutherland have returned re-turned to their homes in Elko, Nevada after visiting for several days here with Mrs. Gale's sister, Mrs. William Lund. Alice Truman has been ill the past week with a sore throat. Wednesday and Friday she went to Cedar City for medical treatment. treat-ment. Walter Cannon was a business visitor here on Monday . The following people have been appointed by the town board as a committee for the 4th of July. William J. Truman, chairman; Ben Swapp, Ronald Lytle, Nora Barlocker and Elfonda Swapp. Sunday night a crowd of young people went to Ox Valley for an outing. They had a team hitched to a trailer "wagon and while coming com-ing home the team got frightened fright-ened and ran away. For a few moments excitement reigned but finally the team got loose and left the trailer, young people and all, to run at will down the hill. Providence intervened and the wagon ran into the side hill in time to avert what might have been a serious accident for had the wacon e-nna a. few vnrds further it would ave landed into a deep wash. |
