Show Bunkerville, Nev. Mrs. Mary II. Leavitt Reporter Mr: and Mrs. Dudley M. Leavitt came from Boulder City and took their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leavitt, on a trip to Los Angeles. While there a grandson was born to them. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. Carl Allen of Los Angeles. Harley Adams loft for Los Angeles August 8 with a load of livestock. Mrs. Luclla Leavitt , returned from Logandale last Wednesday where she spent the past week with her daughter, Mrs. Ma.-vin Waite. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Waite visited a week in Los Angeles with some of their children. Mrs. Albert Ilafen, accempanied bv her daughter and son-in-law, Harry Chatham, has returned from a three week's Vacation trip which began July 24 in Enterprise. From there, the trio took in the Southern South-ern Utah parks, Salt Lake to visit Mrs. Hafen's son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hafen, then on to Reno, Lake Tahoe, Bonner Lake and other resorts, San Francisco Fran-cisco fair, followed the coast down to Los Angeles and back to Las Vegas, visiting Hazel, another daughter of Mrs. Hafen's, who has employment there. Warren Hardy left Sunday for Salt Lake City as his son, Elwood, is there having an operation. Work on the water system is in progress again. Pipe is being laid to the upper end of town where a tank is being built. The townspeople are doing the work, the church furnished the pipe and material and Harley Adams has been hauling the pipe from Los Angeles. Mrs. Vera Hardy left for Reno August 9 to attend the University of Nevada this season. Miss Reva Bunker and her brother, Ferron Bunker, returned from Reno last week where they have spent the summer. Miss Reva will teach in Boulder City this year and Ferron will return to Reno to resume his studies. |
