Show Old Rivals To Tangle At Dixie Stadium Friday Afternoon Both Teams on Edge; Coaches Polish Off Attack and Defensive De-fensive Plays. Should Be "Classic" Game of Year. Tomorrow afternoon at the Dixie stadium west of Hie college, the annual football classic at St. George between Dixie and BAC will be played. This is the game the Dixie football fans have been waiting for. Dixie won the first game 13 tp 6 at BAC. But Coach Linford of BAC has been drilling his squad every day since then for this game Friday. The Aggie" squad will be in tip-top shape for the contest. BAC has two very good back-field men in Higbee and Taylor. Higbee plays quarterback and is a great open-field runner. Taylor plays fullback and does most of the line plunging and kicking. Nelson is the standout man on the line, and is on every play. The rest of the line and backfield men are also very good. Dixie has been working very hard this week and will be in t h ere fighting every minute. (Continued on page six) FOOTBALL 'Continued from first pace i Coach Gus Shields has been giving giv-ing the boys many new angles this week on how to stop long end runs of the Aggies. It is doubtful whether Captain "Aub" Morris will be able to play Friday. If M'orris plays Dixie will have a much better chance to win. The rest of the squad is ready) for the battle. The "Fliers" and the "Farmers" "Farm-ers" are very evenly matched, so if you want to see a real football foot-ball game be there tomorrow. The kickoff will be at 2:30. Many fans rule BAC a slight favorite. |
