Show Springdale Mrs. Jay Crawford Reporter j Too Late For Last WeelO John R. Crawford received word from Eugene. Ore. of the death on March IS. of Mrs. Effie Cox Crawford Smith, who was the wife of his brother, Jacob, before his death in January. !935. Mrs. Smith was the daughter of Janey Millett Cox. She is survived sur-vived by her husband. Glen E. Smith, her four children by Jacob Crawford and six grandchildren. grand-children. Mr. and Mrs. Pan Justit made a business trip to St. George Tuesday. Monday evening the P.-T.A. hold their regular monthly meeting meet-ing and old time dance. Mr. Sullivan Sul-livan and the Sloye Quartette from Roekville furnished the program, pro-gram, which was appreciated by all who heard them. A number of young people from St. George presented a very er.'oyable assembly program in Mutual this week. Thursday evening a wedding reception was held for Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans by the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Kendal'. Gittord. The evening's entertainment entertain-ment were a program and dancing. danc-ing. The young couple received many beautiful and useful gifts. We are having a wonderful storm. Mrs. Lavina Clifford is spending some time at St. George under the doctor's care. |
