Show ENTERPRISE Enterprise, July Sunday the 18th was union meeting here. The Stake Presidency and a great number num-ber from all over the stake were present. After the general assembly each organization met seperately. The Relief Society received a lecture on the Care of the Teeth in Relation to Health from Dr. A. J. Hutchings which was very good. Everyone enjoyed en-joyed the day and we are looking forward to the next union meeting here. - Our 24th of July celebration will start Thursday night with a dance. All day Friday will be out door sports, Broncho Riding and Roping, Picture show and dancing at night. Saturday morning's program includes includ-es children's dance races and novelty novel-ty races. In the afternoon dance and a show at night. Everybody is invited to join us in our celebration. The weather is fine. Last Thursday while chopping wood Arnold Chadburn, age 13, had he misfortune to get hit in the eye with a stick of wood. Dr. Macfar-ane Macfar-ane took him to Cedar City where :he sliver was removed and some lope is given for saving his eye sight. The Day Bros, have a new threshing thresh-ing machine which they started running run-ning last week the thresher is follow-ng follow-ng the grain header and saving a ?;eat amount of wheat and labor, not laving to stack the grain. Mrs. Lizzie Macfarlane, Mrs. John Benson's mother is here visiting. Menzes Benson who has been ill for some time is reported doing better. Mrs. Alexander Bryan, formerly Miss Mable Terry has returned home to stay while her husband is on a mission to the British Isles. Miss Bernice Benson has returned home from Salt Lake City where she spent the past month. Mrs. Neta Shirts and small son of Escalante are visiting Mrs. Shirts' father Amos Hall. |
