Show HURRICANE HURRICANE, Dec. 26. Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Morgan died here December 22 of flu, after an illness of four weeks. She was born in Scotland February 25, 1857. After her marriage to Thomas Ramage they came to America and lived in Philadelphia for several years, later moving to Rock Springs, Wyo. After her seventh child was born, her husband died, and she moved with her family to Loa, Utah. There she met and married mar-ried Richard Morgan, and one daughter daugh-ter was born to them. She is survived by her husband, three sons, John, William and Dan Ramage, and three daughters, Mrs. Mary Maxfield, Mrs. Lizzie Evins, and Mrs. Mable Morgan Lee. Funeral services were held in the auditorium of the school building on December 24, under the direction of Bishop Ira E. Bradshaw. The opening prayer was by Ira E. Bradshaw. Singing by the choir, "O, My Father." The speakers were Bishop Bradshaw, Mr. Sorenson of Loa, who had known Mrs. Morgan for 35 years, Claud Hirschi, Hir-schi, Harvey Hall, Mary W. Hall, Thomas Isom and Mary A. Campbell. Camp-bell. Grace Isom sang, "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose," and Frank Barber sang, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives." The benediction was given by Jas. Jepson. As the closing hymn, the choir sang, "Nearer My God to Thee." Interment was in the Hurricane cemetery. |
