Generator Gen-erator direct connected to a Pelton type water-wheel, operating under a head of 407 feet. Three cottages, for use of employees, were built at this plant. A canal 6492 feet long (including (includ-ing a short rock tunnel) was built between be-tween Sand Cove Plant and the Gun-lock Gun-lock reservoir; this reservoir consists of an earth filled dam 650 feet long, 25 leet high at deepest point, with capacity capac-ity for storing 54 acre feet of water, and is used as a regulating dam for ft. 1 Plant. "The No. 1 plant was removed to its new location at Gunlock where it is f wed by both reservoirs; service of jl ' lis plant was restored October 2nd. "Additional extensions of 33,000 volt transmission lines were erected during the year as follows: "Vk miles connectinng Sand Cove and Gunlock plants to main line system. sys-tem.
