Show GUNLOCK Q UNLOCK, March 29. The weather wea-ther is unusually cold here for this time of year. There is as much snow in the mountains south as there has 'been at any time during the ' winter. Killing frosts occur every night and the prospects for a fruit crop this year are discouraging. Bishop and Mrs. F. J. Bowler and Mrs. Henry .Bowler went to St. Geoige Saturday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Leavitt and Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Leavitt Leav-itt went to St. George Friday. Hyrum Jones is home from the Monument ranch where he spent a week preparing to put in a crop. Mr. and Mrs. Max Hafen of Mesquite are spending a few days here visiting. |
