Anderson, Scout executive, engendered a lot of enthusiasm in the meeting and promised a Scout Training Course to be conducted by himself, which will begin January 22, 1934. Hi offer was accepted by the group with a lot of interest and appreciation. apprec-iation. Mr. Anderson's services are especially appreciated by the committee because of its acquaintance acquain-tance with the splendid type of training he is prepared to give. Scouting has been lagging in this district for the past few months and it is hoped that this contemplated Scout Train in? Courso will revive the spirit ot Scouting. I'vory community can well afford af-ford to make sure f.neir boys arc properly tro-nied and , umpired in the field of Scouting. The writer is informed that twenty two boys are in our State Penitentiary because of neglect during their Scout age. Lets get behind Scouting and see to it that no boy suffers because be-cause of our laxity. Chauncey Sandberg |
