Show WASHINGTON HOLDS LARGE CELEBRATION ON 24th The 24th celebration at Washington, Wash-ington, was sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Jankele of that place. . Sports were given in the afternoon and a number of trained train-ed dogs entertained the crowd. A firework display was given in the evening followed by a dance. The music was furnished by Mr. Scott of Beaver and Mr. Hoopes of Washington. It is estimated about 2000 people attended this celebration, which was very successful. suc-cessful. Mr. and Mrs. Jankle opened their business in WashingBon five years ago on July 24, 1929. |
