Show QUITE A DIFFERENCE A Washington county woman, wo-man, packing peaches last month, dropped a note in one of the crates asking for certain cer-tain information, among Which was the price paid by the buyer for the crate. She was some surprised the other oth-er day to receive an answer stating that the price she was charged was $2.30. She was still more surprised sur-prised when she received a net six cents for the crate of peaches after transportation transporta-tion charges were paid. She happened to live in a community com-munity where they are affiliated affil-iated with the association. Some of the others, it is said, owe the railroads and truck companies after the fruif is sold. |
