Show CANE BEDS, ARIZONA ! Cane Beds, Ariz., Nov. 7. Arsel ; Palmer, son of D. W7. Palmer of this place is in Orderville with a broken leg. A horse fell with him when he was after a calf. They start tomorrow tomor-row for Orderville and will bring him : home. He was taken to Kanab at first for a few days' where the doctor set his leg. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. T. Wilkins have had five children down with "flu" and pneumonia. They are now on the improve. This sickness in the family fam-ily followed the death of a son who had ben ill two weeks before. j Ellis Stock and Waldon Ballard have done some repair work on the school house by lining it with wall board on the inside, which adds greatly great-ly to the comfort as well as appear-! ance of the building. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beebe are back ' home again after several months' stay-in stay-in La Verkin, where they had been on account of Mr. Beebe's health. He seems to be much improved now. Mrs. Olive B. Stock has returned from La Verkin and other Dixie points where she had been for about two months with her relatives. j John and Arthur Ferrin, brothers' of R. O. Ferrin of this place, have come from Arizona and expect to : stay all winter. j Waldon Ballard returned from Cedar City Saturday where he had j been with a bunch of steers that he was selling. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew H. Perkins returned from Hurricane Monday, where they had been for flour, bran and hay. Mrs. Waldon Ballard spent most of last week in St. George visiting relatives. |
