Show LEGISLATORS SEE WINTER POLO PLAV1 1) 1 UTAH'S DIME Cedar City. Feb. 5. Legislators here on the biennial inspection of the Branch Agriculural college made today to-day a tour of surrounding regions, which took them as far as- Zion National Na-tional park, during which they saw-winter saw-winter polo played at Toquerville. On one of the competing teams were two brothers, Gron R. Parry and Chaunce Parry, former Salt Lake boys, who figure in the most recent romance of success in southern Utah. The polo game was staged for the legislators by well know n men of Salt Lake. Cedar City and Toquerville. along with several army officers. Among these, in addition to the Parry Par-ry brothers, were A. P. Spilsbury. R. S. Realty and R. L. Kenton of Cedar City, T. C. Womack and Earl Moore of Toquerville. Major R. C. Batson, United Stales army officer in charge of the R. O. T. 0. at the Universily of Utah; Mayor A. II. Jones, who is in charge of army remount activities in Utah; Mayor ' Grant Young and Captain W. C. Green. Polo Game Exciting- The polo players were called the blue and the red. Although Majors Batson. Jones and Grant with Cap-lain Cap-lain Green form a Salt Lake team which is training for participation in the coming polo tournament at Boise, they were divided between the red and blue teams. Accordingly, the players were: Red team, T. C. Womack, Mayor Jones, Earle Moore and R. S. Realty; Blue team, A. P. Spilsbury, Major Batson, Major Young and Gron R. Parry. Relief players included C. T. Parry and Walt Realty. It was an exciting game, with the blue team victorious, score 0 to 1. A number of the Iron and Washington Wash-ington county horse raisers, it was J jaid after tlie game, have arranged to exhibit horses at the Salt Lake horse show in March. They were welcomed by former State Senator David Hirschl, the Washington Washing-ton county commissioners, members of tin- school board and numerous other cirizens. The program included includ-ed several horse races. Before their depart lire this evening the legislators were entertained at a dinner in the Hotel Escalante. Speakers at the Friday banquet at the Branch Agricultural college, where the dinner was prepared and served by girl students In the home economics classes, were Senator Herbert Her-bert S.
