Show ROCKVILLE ROCKVTLLE, July 22. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Perry have returned to Mapleton after spend the past thres months here. Mr. Perry has been employed at the Nevada construction camp at Zion. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barnhurst have moved to Cedar where they expect to remain for about five months. Floyd DeMille met with quite a painful accident Friday when the horse he was riding came in contact con-tact with an uncharged electric wire which was being stretched from town to the gravel pit across the river. His right leg was cut and bruised to the extent that he will be unable to walk for some time. Ira and Julius Cox have purchased a new Ford sedan. Mrs. Sarah Williams was overcome over-come with heat last Sunday in Sunday Sun-day school and fainted. She was rushed to a nearby home and soon revived. Mr. and Mrs. John V. Shoppman of Cedar were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Terry. Mr. and Mrs. Weeks of Vernal are employed at the Shady camp. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Terry are in Vernal to attend the Timothy reunion. re-union. Glen Hirschi is home again after an absence of several months. Miss Isabell DeMille is a new employee em-ployee at the Shady camp cafe. Ray Perkins and Ellis Stock of Short Creek were Sunday visitors here. Mrs. Bill Regland spent Monday at the Nevada construction camp, a guest of Mrs. Joe Halverstead. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Lester gave a wedding dance here Tuesday evening. A large crowd was in attendance and an enjoyable time had. Orley Stapley is here from Cedar visiting with his wife and children. David Dennett was in Short Creek on business last week. About forty from here attended circus at Cedar City Monday. Lorin Langston is employed at the Zion park lodge. Miss Ivy Hirschi is home again after spending some time with Mrs. Vera Allred at Springdale. |
