Show Littlefield, Arizona Lynn McKnight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark McKriight and Miss Elda Leavitt, daughter of Ernest Leavitt, were united in marriage Thursday, April 20 at St. George. A wedding supper was given at the Beaver Dam Lodge by the managers, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Haley. Mr. and Mrs. MpHnight are both employed at the lodge. Most of our young people attended at-tended the dance at Bunkerville Friday evening. Quite a crowd f:om our town attended the concert given by the Dixie orchestra at Mesquite Sunday Sun-day evening. Wright McKnight and son Jim spent Sunday night here from Carp, Nev. Carl McKnight spent Saturday and Sunday visiting friends at Bunkerville. A very large crowd of merri-makers merri-makers celebrated Easter Sunday here along the Beaver Dam creek. People were here from Bunkerville Mesquite, Santa Clara and St. George. Dry Utah beer became quite moist in west Arizona, but even at that everyone seemed to enjoy the day. Robert Reber took a load of radishes and onions to St. George Saturday. The Misses Lucille, Ora and Gertrude Ger-trude Frehner, who are attending school at St. George, spent the week-end at home visiting their parents, MJr. and Mrs. Joseph Frehner. Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hafen and two children and Mirs. Virginia Sylvester, all of Mesquite, spent Sunday here with Mrs. Hafen'ts parents, Mr. and M.S. J. H. Reber. Bishop and Mrs. Harold Reber and family spent Sunday afternoon after-noon at St. George visiting Mrs. Reber's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ed-ward Syphus. Joseph Frehner left today in company with Mr. Graff for northern north-ern Utah points with a truck load of bunch onions. |
