Show ROCKVILLE JJOCKVILIJO, Nov. 23. Winter came here unexpectedly on Friday evening and left a thick blanket of snow. It has been quite cold for a few days, but is warming up again now. In spite of the inclement weather, wea-ther, quite a number of people attended the stake conference at Hurricane last week end. A group of friends agreeably surprised Heber Hirschi Thursday Thurs-day evening, the occasion being his birthday. An enjoyable evening eve-ning was spent. Israel Neilson of Cedar City is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Dennett. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mahan and Mrs. Mary Stout spent Friday Fri-day in Hurricane on business. Daniel and Dewey Hirschi spent Saturday in St. George. Elwin Ballard moved up from' Grafton last week and will make . his home here. Guy Seniple and David Ballard Bal-lard came in from Cane Beds with a load of calves last Friday. Fri-day. M.r and Mrs. Waldon Ballard of Cane Beds were visitors here Friday. C. E. Thompson of Cedar City spent part of last week here on business. Jed Cox of Cedar City was here on business Thursday. Rockville and Virgin played a basketball game here Friday, Virgin being the winner. |
