Show WASHINGTON Washington, Dec. 21. James Tegan met with a very painful accident acci-dent last Wednesday while working on the stage in the gymnasium. A ladder fell with him, tearing the ligaments liga-ments in both arms. He is getting along as well as can be expected. The junior class of the Y. L. M. I. A. and their teachers, Mrs. Lena Wilier Wil-ier and Miss Minnie Paxman, held a party in the basement of the meeting house Tuesday night. There was a Christmas tree with a present for all and plenty of apples, nuts, grapes, cookies and candy. A very enjoy-sble enjoy-sble evening was spent. Four one-act plays were staged here Friday night under the direction direc-tion of the M. I. A. Two of these wro presented by memebers of our ward and two by members of the South ward of St. George. All were wry good and much enjoyed by those present. , Monday night the Primary gave a Christmas program. Plays were given by the sea gull and blue bird Eirls and various exercises by the smaller grades were given. All went off very nicely. Twin boy were born on the 16th '"St. to Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Neilson; ill concerned doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Weaver are tare from Circleville, visiting with relatives. Joseph Hafen has gone to Salt l"ake City on business. Alma Jensen arrived here Monday spend the holidays. |
